The front page of the ODT this morning carries an impressive photo of lightning striking the Mt Maude radio and TV tower on Saturday.
Snapped at 11:30pm by Quentin Smith, the bolt “cut television and radio services in Lake Hawea and parts of Wanaka until Sunday morning”.
